I have a date tonight. First one this decade. Yes, I'm a loser.

It went very well! He brought me a present (a Willow/Oz mini-lunchbox) which was way more thoughtful than flowers. Since this is the first time we've met in person, we met at the Galleria and had a great time looking around at all the stores with stuff that I can't possibly afford (Tiffany's, Chanel, Prada, etc.). Then dinner and conversation. We have so much in common that my friend Tim says it's like I'm dating myself. No major sparks yet, but I usually have to be friends with someone for a while before that happens. All an all, it was pretty much a success. And I have a second date with him set up on Tuesday.

Now that I've jump started my dating life, I can concentrate on jump starting my writing. That's my next project..
