Watch Out For Sneaky Transvestites!

In the other room, my 75 year old father and 68 year old mother are discussing the differences between transsexuals, transvestites, and drag queens.  For their age, they actually have a pretty good grasp on who's who and what's what.

DAD (pretty much verbatim) : Transvestites are the ones who like to dress up as women, but don't want to have the surgery.  I mean they look gorgeous, just like real women, but then you put your hand under their skirt, and whoa, there's a penis.

I don't know if  I want to hear the basis for this comment or the story that accompanies it.  He did spend most of the Korean War in New Mexico working on the A-bomb, and they did take trips to Mexican border towns while on leave.....

How hilarious. Years ago, my parents were friends with this elderly couple. One evening, the wife asked my mother confidentially what *queers* and *gays* were. When my mother told her, she replied,"Oh, you mean cocksuckers? They've always been around. I thought this was something new!"
