My Mom Thinks I'm a Pornographer

eccentriciI had several things I wanted to discuss tonight--Seth Green on Graham Norton, the horrifyingly bad new Buffy books, the Oz/Devon plot bunnies that kept me up all Tuesday night--but now, I'm simply aghast. Apparently, my mother thinks I'm a pornographer. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
You see, I am rubber stamping and collaging a series of postcards for SlashSwap and SonofSlashSwap. Nothing too racy, but I am misusing Michelangelo's David. Now, my mom is not a prude. She's seen "Sex in the City" and I know she's watched a few "Cinemax After Dark" movies with my dad right after they first got cable. After 50 years of marriage, I'm fairly sure she knows a lot about sex, but for some strange reason, she is convinced that I will be arrested it I mail these postcards. I told her that I've already mailed out 5 of them, and have 7 more ready to mail tomorrow morning. We ended up having a discussion on what constitutes pornography, and I think I convinced her that I'm not going to be sent to federal prison.
