I'm dying here

glossing is trying to kill me. First a new chapter of Compassing Wonders, and then this wonderful Giles/Oz essay here http://www.livejournal.com/community/ship_manifesto/2758.html

I am strong. I can wait to read these next week. In addition to the Oz/Devon ficathon, I now have about 20 pages of Spanish translation to finish by the end of this week. I keep telling myself this will be my reward for getting everything on my list accomplished. Must not read, must write!

ADD is not my friend

I'm trying to do my Spanish. Really. Instead, I'm writing dialogue between inanimate objects on my desk. Right now, the EvilBabyHeadInATeacup is totally dissing the LyndaCarterasWonderWomanPostcard much to the chagrin of the GoodBabyHeadInATeacup. Then, the SandArtParrotMyNieceMadeMe pipes up with his concern that he's losing sand and noone seems to notice. The PinkFlamingosVase/Penholder is oddly silent.
